On 14 July 2026, DESA had the honour of welcoming YBM Datuk Jamawi Jaafar, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Sabah; Datuk Jumain bin Abdul Ghani, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Sabah (MAFFI); together with their delegation, for an official working visit to DESA Dairy Farm, Kundasang.

The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to gain deeper insight into DESA's dairy farming operations and its ongoing efforts to support the growth and development of Sabah's livestock and dairy industry.

DESA greatly appreciates the visit and looks forward to collaborating with the Ministry in advancing the State Government's aspiration to enhance local food production and strengthen Sabah's long-term food security.
