In Desa Dairy Farm, our production system is strategically designed to integrate intensive barn production system with open pasture grazing for long term growth sustainability. The cold temperate climate of our dairy farm which is located at the foothill of Mt. Kinabalu, 5000 ft above sea level, is conducive for Holstein Friesian cow with high genetic value to perform well to its potential.

Our Holstein Friesian cows are fed with our very own total mixed ration that consist of best quality hay, grain-based dairy feeds and green grass from our pasture land.

Our animals are housed in well-designed facilities equipped with modern barn and milking technologies which provides a conducive and clean environment for cow comfort.

Our modern production and processing system is highly automated at all stages including milking, pasteurising, homogenising, filling and packaging. Stringent Quality Assurance Management System is in place to ensure our food safety standards are in compliance with the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) and Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) requirement. Desa Dairy Farm production and processing are accredited with Good Agricultural Practices (myGap), Veterinary Health Mark (VHM), Halal and MeSTI certifications. Desa has played a significant role in the modernization and development of the Dairy Industry benchmarking, our dairy management performance KPIs against European standards.

We are fully committed to the food safety, animal welfare and environmental sustainability. Majority of our consumers today grew up with   Fresh Milk during their childhood days. We have been supplying premium quality fresh pasteurised milk to Sabah consumers since 1980. We have expanded our fresh milk products to downstream milk-based products, i.e. yogurt and cheese.

Fresh Milk is wholesome, nutritious and comprise of a balanced level of protein, calcium, energy, and other essential vitamins in fresh milk produced in highland farm. Utmost care is taken during processing to ensure that the health-giving attributes of the milk is preserved.
